I'd like to share the history of Daisy B Nell with you and how we came to be an Award-winning UK Bridal shop...
My Journey to opening Daisy B Nell began in 1995 when I graduated from Hereford School of Arts in Fashion & Textiles. After winning a £500 travel bursary award I took off to travel around India visiting clothes factories & glass works in places such as Kashmir & Mumbai, to name just two. Travels took me further on to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique learning traditional techniques over the next six months.
In February 2000 I opened Daisy B Nell in our first premises within King Charles Court, Evesham Worcester. In 2008 the opportunity came up for us to expand and move to our current beautiful premises in a 1482 loft, still within King Charles Court.
You'd think that moving across a courtyard would be easy, but never underestimate how much work it is to move the stock of a bridal shop, even a few yards... After a hectic few days, we were ready to launch our new shop and haven't looked back since.
Since first opening, Daisy B Nell has gone from strength to strength and won our first National Award in 2002 as Best Newcomer in the Bridal Buyer Awards in association with Cosmopolitan Bride.
